EverReady's mission statement is directed toward stable temperament, intelligence, trainability and versatility.  We stand for field based breeding with intelligence, sound, trainable dogs.  Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder...of the blue ribbon.  We believe in the dog that is comfortable in the field, ring and/or home.  With the energy and desire to give 200 % in the field and the good sense to lay down and sleep beside the bed.  And the golden that represents what their ancestors were.

Although EverReady is a fairly new kennel of 5 years, the knowledge behind it goes back many years.  ET begin in dogs 45 yrs ago with cocker spaniels and competed with many breeds in conformation, obedience, agility, tracking and field.  Acquired many titles that include 8 Champions of conformation, 3 utility dogs, one UDT and several agility titles as well as 3 HRCH's and 2 JH.

The golden era began in 1980 with a female named Piper.  She was a UDT and of conformation breeding and is pictured on the Rainbow bridge portion as are 5 goldens that I had before field began.  Present goldens at EverReady Retrievers are:

• HRCH SUNNY DOWN'S UPON THE ROOFTOP JH, CDX, NA, NAJ, WCX - NICK - Thank you Nick, it is my privilege to share your life.  An independent male of unmeasured personality - gets a standing ovation whether he passes or fails with his outgoing, entertaining personality - great fun to be on the other end of the lead with him  and is my heart dog, an immeasurable companion.

• HRCH EVERREADY TO ROCK, CD, NA, NAJ - ROCK - A princess who is very talented with marking and does agility with a vengeance that will kill me.

• HRCH EVERREADY TO ROLL, CD, NA, NAJ - ROLL- A very talented serious retriever with 200% intensity in everything she does.  Big hearted as they come and cute. (see Golden Gallery for photos)  Rock n Roll are sisters out of an outstanding pedigree (see pedigree).  Field bred, dark red and big with fire you don't see in most bitches.
